We found this 1967 Fastback in a barn, probably one of the last legitimate barn finds in San Diego.  We all hear the stories, and most of the times they are just that.  So we decided to follow this story because when it was told, it sounded real.  And hell we are always down for an adventure.  So off we went to a town called Lakeside down some very old roads, and met with Dan the owner of this little hidden jem.  When we got there we blown away, it was literally in his barn, completely out of sight.  She had been sitting for over 20 years, with a failed restoration attempt, she came equipped with the factory 289 2V, 3 speed manual, Factory AC, Factory Powersteering, and Drum Brake Car.  This was a simple restomod, along with rebuilding the steering, we did a power disc brake conversion, new front and rear suspension, 1″shelby sway bar kit, 620 1″lowering springs.  She received a fresh coat of paint, factory candy apple red, and we added the white GT Stripe kit for some flair, along with all new badging, new chrome and trim, GT Fog Lights, and we did a proper restoration on the interior. She also features American Racing 427 Wheels in a 17 x 8 with 245’s all the way around.  She’s a great little driver now, that her new owner is enjoying.
